Village of Common Purpose

The Village of Common Purpose idea is one that I have been thinking about a lot lately. The basic idea is that a group of people form a kind of co-op where they share talents and resources with each other.

Possible ways to implement.

• Members of the "Village" give each other discounted prices on their goods and services
• Members pool money, time, and resources to help fund new ventures
• Point based monetary system where you receive points for giving your time or products to the "Village". Points can be redeemed in buying products or "hiring" other members of the village to help with your projects
